Chadron State to accept online payments
Chadron State College will begin accepting online payment with debit and credit cards for tuition, fees, room and board for the spring semester.
The new feature, which is accessible from Chadron State’s Web site, will become active Monday, Dec. 6. Mastercard, Visa and Discover will be accepted.
“Chadron State College wished to provide a Web-based payment service to students and parents that could be accessed from the comfort of their room, home or any other Internet accessible location,” said Ann Burk, CSC director of computer services. “Online credit card payment will provide this service.”
Gayle Stetson, Chadron State business manager, said college officials chose Payment Gateway, software developed and marketed by TouchNet Information Services, because of its ease of installation and full integration with the college’s student information system.
Students will access the payment link from Campus Pipeline, a password-protected Web portal for the CSC community. Parents and others will find a payment link by visiting www.csc.edu.
