Chadron State homecoming candidates chosen
A total of 66 upperclassmen have been nominated for homecoming royalty at Chadron State College. Homecoming and Band Day will be Saturday, Oct. 23. Western State College will be the Eagles’ football opponent.
The royal couple will be crowned during a pep rally at 7 p.m. Friday in the Nelson Physical Activity Center. Each campus organization that participates in homecoming is permitted to nominate a members for king and queen.
Other homecoming highlights will include a parade down Chadron’s Main Street at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and a luncheon at 11 a.m. where six Distinguished Alumni Awards and one Distingished Alumni Award will be presented. In addition, seven ex-Eagles will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.
