Criteria:

The recipients shall be students who attend CSC for the purpose of studying and to major or minor in Fine Arts and the Humanities, which includes but not limited to History, Humanities, Foreign language, Literature or Philosophy. The Humanities will follow the definition as per the Nebraska Humanities Council.

William G. Lindeken was a successful farmer and stockman and a community leader. He and his wife, Frances, were long supporters of CSC and made generous contributions to the CSC foundation to support the students of the humanities. Receipt of this award acknowledges your accomplishments and promise as a student of English, and requires enrollment as an English or Education Major.
