Watson Justice Studies Scholarship

Criteria:

The recipient shall be majoring in the area of Pre-Law/Criminal Justice/Legal Studies. He/she shall hold a 2.5 GPA and an ACT score of 18 or above.

The pre-law scholarship was established at CSC by professor of criminal justice, George Watson, with a research grant obtained by Watson. He wrote a book, entitled Prairie Justice, which details the history of the legal system throughout the panhandle of western Nebraska. The proceeds from the sale of his book were donated to the Chadron State Foundation to establish a scholarship for pre-law students.
