Virginia Speich Endowed Scholarship

Eligibility: Freshman
Area of Interest: HistorySecondary Education

Criteria:

The recipient shall be majoring in the area of History or Secondary Social Science Education. He/she shall have an ACT score of 18 or above and have graduated in the top half of their high school class. Preference will be given to Freshman.

Mrs. Speich is a retired faculty of CSC. She attended Stockham High School and graduated in 1935 from Peru State. She earned her M.A. degree in 1939 from the University of Wyoming. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Pi, Sigma Tav Delta, Pi Gamma MV and Quill Club.
