Area of Interest: Special Education

Criteria:

The recipient shall be planning to be a special education teacher. First preference shall be given to students from Dawes or Sioux counties. Second preference will be that the department not award the scholarship until there is a qualified recipient from Dawes or Sioux County. If after several years there is not a qualified applicant, consideration can be given to students from service region of Chadron State College including the states of Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Colorado.
