Sandra Moreland Channer Memorial Scholarship

Area of Interest: Elementary EducationSecondary Education

Criteria:

First preference will be given to a Cherry or Sheridan County high school graduate majoring in Elementary Education. Second preference shall be given to a Cherry or Sheridan County high school graduate majoring in Secondary Education. Third preference shall be given to any Elementary Education major.

Sandra graduated from Chadron State with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught in Henry, Big Springs and Arthur. Sandra received her Master's Degree from Chadron State in 1991, and was married to Kim Channer in May 1992. Her funeral was one year later in May of 1993.
