Royce Vathauer Scholarship

Criteria:

The recipient shall be capable of meeting college academic requirements. He/she must be a student wishing to major in Elementary Education.

Dr. Vathauer was an associate professor of education while teaching at Chadron State College. He earned his bachelor of science degree and his master of science degree from Kansas State University at Manhattan. He then went on to obtain his Ed.S. from the University of Wyoming at Laramie and Kansas State Teachers College at Emporia in 1962. Dr. Vathauer taught at CSC until his death in 1985.
