Recipient must be an Education major and have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and successfully passed the Praxis exam.

Dr. Patricia Cruzeiro served as a faculty member at CSC from 1992-2004. She was Professor of Educational Administration and Chair of the Education Department. Cruzeiro had been the Director of Field Experiences and served as the coordinator of the Entry Year Assistance Program, a mentoring program for beginning teachers. Dr. John Cruzeiro came to the northern panhandle as the superintendent of the Rushville School Distinct in 1991. He also served as the Educational Service Unit Director in Alliance and superintendent for the Sioux County High School District (Harrison) from 1998-2004.
