Moody/Crouse Family Endowed Scholarship

Eligibility: SophomoreJuniorSenior
Area of Interest: Family and Consumer Science

Criteria:

The recipient shall be majoring or minoring in the area of Family & Consumer Sciences. The recipient shall have a GPA of at least 3.0.

Yvonne Moody and Margaret Crouse began teaching family and consumer sciences at Chadron State College in 1979. Both individuals had been teaching high school home economies prior to employment at CSC. To date, both are still employed at CSC as professors within the family and consumer sciences program. Yvonne Moody holds a bachelor and master's degree from Chadron State College and a doctorate degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Margaret Crouse holds a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and a masters and doctorate degree from Oklahoma State University. These two individuals have led the family and consumer sciences program for over twenty-five years and served as mentors to many regional professionals in family and consumer sciences.
