Linda Nitsch was born Jan. 12, 1948, in Boulder, Colo. She grew up in Boulder and Laramie, Wyo. She graduated from Laramie High School in 1966. She was married to Gil Nitsch for 27 years. Together they raised seven children on a farm three miles east of Chadron. After raising her family, Linda attended CSC, graduated in 1990 with a BA in business administration, and in 1995 with an MBA. Linda worked for the Chicago North Western Railroad for 15 years; First National Bank of North Platte for one year; and was employed by CSC for 13 years. She was the advisor of the Phi Beta Lambda business fraternity at CSC. She passed away on Feb. 2, 2004.
