Lee Crawford Memorial Football Scholarship

Criteria:

Recipient shall be a graduate of a Wyoming High School, participating in Football, and able to demonstrate financial need.


This scholarship was established to honor Lee Crawford who was an outstanding fullback on the CSC Football Team in 1988, 1989, and 1990. Lee was also an exceptional calf roper on the CSC Rodeo Team. Crawford was among the players who were largely responsible for the national rankings and the 17-2 regular season record that the Eagles compiled in his last two years. In Crawford's final season with the Eagles, he carried the ball 95 times for 642 yards, an average of 6.8 yards, and scored 10 touchdowns. He also caught 13 passes for 125 yards. Tragically, his life ended in an airplane crash in October of 1991. Lee is remember as being a big guy with a big smile, a big heart and a bright future.
