Criteria:

Recipient shall have a G.P. A. of at least 2.0 or have graduated in the upper half of their high school graduating class.

Vida Belle Lambert married Walter Rodgers and they had five girls who attended what was then called Chadron State Teachers College, during the mid-1920's to the 1940's. All five Rodgers girls met their future husbands at Chadron State. The Lambert Family Endowed Scholarship was established by Reverend Eugene Clements to honor the Rodgers sisters; Mabel (married Al Beguin), Martha (married Eugene Lambert), Elma (married Harold Drury), Lois (married Bus Murphy), and Beth (married Murray Johnson).
