F. Dale and Marilyn Hammer Scholarship

Criteria:

First preference shall be to a recipient who is a direct descendent of the Otto Johnson family or William Likely, Sr. family. Second preference shall be to a recipent who is a high school gradute of the following counties: Holt, Sioux Dawes, Sheridan, Cherry, Brown, Rock or Keya Paha, of the state of Nebraska.

Marilyn Hammer is an alumnus of CSC. After her marriage to F. Dale, they lived in Enlgewood where she worked for Sterns-Roger Manufacturing Co. They moved to Fort Collins where her husband attened A & M College, now Colorado State University, and she worked in the department of agronomy. Her husband was employed as an agronomist and soil conservationist with the US Department of Agriculture, working at Strasburg, Springfield, and Cortez before going to Greeley in January of 1970.
