Criteria:

Recipient shall be a Family and Consumer Science major with a commitment to the profession and professionalism as evidenced by activity record and professional goals.

Ethel Delzell, a pioneer in the home economics program at Chadron and head of the department during part of her 32 year association with the school. The home economics section of a technology complex at CSC memorializes her. Miss Delzell began her teaching career in Gothenburg, NE where she spent two years before teaching in Douglas, WY.
