Ed Bieganski Develop Your Potential Scholarship was established by 1975 CSC graduate Mitch Bean recognizing the influence dedicated and caring persons have on others. Many quality CSC educators helped me progress. Mr. Bieganski operated outside his core responsibility and encouraged me to develop with a study area I had not previously considered, academic course work and activities outside my major. This encouragement led to scholarships, a change of major and career development. My professional path changed dramatically because he made a conscious decision to try to help a young student. He pointed me in another direction academically. I do not know the donors' names that funded my scholarships. Their generosity helped me complete my CSC Bachelor degree, the first college degree in my family. It is my hope CSC students will dedicate themselves to CSC academics, extra-curricular activities and a life time of community service. Additionally, they may also learn help comes from unknown persons and it can be gratifying to assist others. Hopefully, the recipients will commit to assisting others along the way in their promising future.
