History or Family & Consumer Sciences major and graduate of Chadron High School.

Dorothy Pine was the wife of Leon Pine, a longtime faculty member at CSC. Dorothy taught home economics and history at Chadron High School for several years. Her husband and former students established this scholarship to demonstrate their great respect for her as a person, wife and teacher.
