Doris Gates Scholarship

Eligibility: Junior/Senior
Area of Interest: Biology

Criteria:

Recipient shall be majoring in Biological Science and have an interest in the study of plants, animals, birds, and their habitat, including the problem of conservation. The recipient shall have at least a 3.0.

Dorris Gates joined the CSC faculty in 1955 and remained there for twenty years. Doris always participated in nearly all college activities right down to the last athletic event and party. Her loyalty as a teacher and to CSC was foremost in her life.
