Recipients shall be majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences

Donald Burkhiser came to Chadron State in 1946 and retired in 1973. During those 27 years, he served as the Chairman of the Division of Vocational Arts. He was very involved on and off campus, even served as Mayor to the City of Chadron.
