Con and Peggy Marshall Student Teaching Endowment

Criteria:

The recipient shall be determined by the CSC Education department faculty with input from the Director of student teachers. He/she shall be in need of assistance during his/her student teaching semester. The recipient shall have a GPA of at least 3.0.

Con Marshall has been the director of information and sports information director at Chadron State for more than 35 years. He has a special appreciation for CSC scholar-athletes and the teams they formed. The scholarship was established in his honor by former CSC athletes in the mid-1990s. It is awarded to current CSC football and/or basketball players who have not previously received an athletic scholarship. Marshall's wife Peggy has taught elementary education courses at CSC for nearly 20 years. Both are Dawes County natives and graduates of Chadron State.
