Clifford W. "Pete" & Bernadette Carroll Endowed Scholarship

Criteria:

Recipient must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and shall be a member of the Chadron State Football team.

Clifford W. "Pete" Carroll was born July 14, 1911 and graduated from Chadron State College in 1935. Pete was a member of the Eagle football team and was Captain of the 1933 team that won the Nebraska State College Championship.  He was inducted into the CSC Hall of Fame in 1988.  Pete married Bernadette Martin Carroll July 14, 1954.  His lifelong love of college football and his late life hobby of wood carving led his family to start an athletic scholarship for an athlete with an interest in the arts.  Pete died in 2001.
