Your First Semester
We tailor your first semester course schedule according to your academic needs, High School GPA, and placement test results.
TSP classes will count as elective credit, and therefore be part of your degree. They do not add time or credit requirements to most degrees.
Your first semester courses will consist of the following (depending on your individual placement):
| English - ENG 111: Intro to College Writing/ENG 135: Rhetoric & Writing | 3 cr. |
| Mathematics - MATH 101: Pre-Algebra, MATH 102: Pre-College Algebra, or an Essential Studies Math course | 3-4 cr. |
| FYI 169AK-First Year Experience (recommended) | 3 cr. |
| Major Course/Essential Studies Course | 6 cr. |
| TOTAL | 15-16 credits |
