TIMELINE

The timeline provided below is an outline for the student, field director, and agency.

August to September:	Students and the Field Director discuss possible internship placements.
September to October:	The first interview will take place between the student, Field Director, and the agency. During this interview, the agency, its location, and services offered will be discussed. If the agency feels the student is a good fit, a second meeting will be scheduled. During the second interview, the field manual and education will be discussed.
January to March:	The field placement will begin at the beginning of the second semester, usually in early January. At this time, all paperwork for the placement should be completed. During mid-spring semester, the student, Field Director, and agency will meet to review the learning contract, examine the student's performance , and completion of goals thus far.
March to May:	Practicum generally ends the last Friday in April. A final meeting between the student, field director, and agency will take place at this time. The student's grade is based on how well he/she met the learning contract goals.
