Wind Symphony
The Chadron State College Wind Symphony includes some of the finest student instrumental musicans from this part of the country; including western Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming. The group has toured extensively throughout the midwest and southwest United States, including invitations to perform at the Nebraska Music Educators Association convention and the Nebraska State Bandmaster's Association conventions.
The Wind Symphony has featured nationally known soloists, conductors, and composers on the Chadron State College campus and on tours, including Sam Pilafian and Robert Sheldon.
Participants in the Wind Symphony include music majors and non-music majors. Acceptance is determined by audition.
